MONDAY, MAY 13, 1968
The "mop up" of enemy bodies and equipment continued, with two tanks and two
flame tracks joining the 3-39th.  Enemy resistance faded at this point; it is
not clear from the records if the units were in contact and making kills or
simply counting bodies from previous contacts when A/3-39th reported a body
count of 16 VC; B/3-39th a body count of 14 VC; attached B/6-31st a body
count of 15 VC; attached Scout Platoon, HHC/2-47th Mech a body count of 1 VC;
and attached B/2-47th Mech one VC PW.

                 TUESDAY, MAY 14, 1968
The 3-39th departed the Saigon area and returned to its normal area of
operations.
